  17. AFAIK, the ROM chips are socketed and are actually accessable just by opening
  18. the case - you don't even need to remove the RF shielding (although I think
  19. access will be easier if you do).  Open a 1200 and you'll see 2 chips in a hole
  20. in the metal shield - I think these are the ROMs.
